Who needs to out to eat when you can get that restaurant rice flavor at home? Serve it up with your favorite Mexican dish. We're partial to our Chile Relleno Casserole.
3 Tbsp. olive oil
1 c. rice
1/2 tsp. The Real Homestyle rub
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
Heat oil in a medium saucepan. Add rice and cook, stirring frequently, toasting rice until it begins to brown. Add Homestyle and cumin and continue to cook 1-2 minutes.
Add tomato sauce and chicken broth. Bring to boil, then cover and reduce to simmer. Continue cooking 20-25 minutes or until you can no longer see steam escaping from under pot lid. Remove from heat and fluff with a fork. Top with cilantro and enjoy!
